I dedicate this to the mega-multi-talented ~Krasharkk This was inspired by the Kyuutai DVD of the New York show - I studied Satochi playing the drums. He has a 'matched grip' doesn't he(?) Satochi has an absolutely mesmerizing tempo during the performance of Ageha, and the first reason why I love MUCC's music. I'm not very good at explaining my art technique, so the W.I.P. shows how I did this drawing. There's still some odd parts too. ~~~~ Graphite pencils: 2H, H, F, HB (mech), 2B (mech and regular), 6B, 8B W.I.P. : [link] Reference from a (bad quality) screenshot: [link] (SATOchi/SATOち from MUCC) |

The Bishie Photog is here! >8D Where're my bishies at, betches?!
Impressive!
I realy thought this was a photo, but when noticed the artist name... I had to visit.
Live portraits are sure a great thing for training and capturing the atmosphere, aren't they?
I hope you had fun doing this, because drawing a live-bad quality screen is always a load of fun at least for me.
Beautiful ^^

knowing that every time i do something, i do it a little better than before. that's what matters to me.
I don't even know, where to start, you have me completely speechless. Okay, except of my stuefyed stumbling around *___*
First of all: your drawing is way better than the actual ref
All the detailes and how you managed to turn the light more exact. How the hell did you make his hair such natural and detailed with that blurred ref?
It looks exactly like a very good, professional black and white photograph. The drums have so many detailes and yet are blurred perfect, where the light is being reflected. Also you managed to give him this perfect, complete drown into his music impression. It makes me really FEEL as if I could see him live. Expecting him to move again, any second.
I yould say so much more about this stunning, breathtaking piece, but every word gives me the feeling, not worth to describe THIS. It's blowing me away. It must have took you ages to do this, but it worths every single second to get this amazing piece. Can't remember to have seen anything even close to be that amazing, before *___*

humans prefer a fake smile, not an honest tear. I understand now.
