My sister requested me to draw a "Bishonen Fairy" for her art blog.
The idea for this composition came from the movie Izo, where one of the Emperor's guardians is The Male Butterfly (played by Hassei Takano). I stylised the character and went kind of overboard with the chiyogami patterns..  It took me a while to get the balance right..
